Four Point Inspection
A four-point inspection takes a closer look at the four major systems that determine a home’s safety and long-term reliability: the roof, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Instead of covering every detail of the property like a full home inspection, it focuses specifically on these four major areas. The inspection evaluates the roof for age, damage, or leaks; the electrical system for proper wiring and panel safety; the plumbing for leaks, corrosion, or faulty water heaters; and the HVAC system for overall condition and efficiency. Many insurance companies require this inspection (especially for older homes) to ensure they meet safety standards, but it also gives homeowners a clear understanding of the health of their home’s most important systems.
